Ballard Real Estate

The rural township of Ballard is home to a still-very-functional little red schoolhouse, two restaurants and a bed & breakfast.

Buellton Real Estate

The bustling gateway city of Buellton is conveniently located at the intersection of US Highway 101 and State Highway 246 with “everything for the traveler”.

Carpinteria Real Estate

Carpinteria is a city located just southeast of Santa Barbara so one can imagine it is, like its surrounding counterparts, a popular destination for visitors and those interested in  Carpinteria real estate.  Originally the Spanish named the area Carpinteria because of the native Chumash tribe that lived there and whom specialized in making and selling canoes using the areas naturally occurring surface tar.

These days Capinteria is more well known for its gentle terrain and calm surf. You can spot sea lions and the occasional whale very close to the shore, a site indeed! This quiet beach town is most famous for Carpinteria State Beach (worlds safest beach), Santa Clause Ln., and its Salt Marsh Nature Park.

Goleta Real Estate

For a long time Goleta remained the largest unincorporated area in the county of Santa Barbara, that is until 2002 when it was finally incorporated into a city. Goleta is perhaps best known for it´s close proximity to the University of California, Santa Barbara

The city of Goleta is still in its infancy but already there is great interest in Goleta real estate. Some come to invest and others come to live. Residents enjoy Goleta because it´s a small community and just 5 miles north of Santa Barbara.

Of course being a beach community has allowed Goleta to become and remain popular with beach lovers and surfers. The city is also popular among college students who attend UCSB.

Hope Ranch Real Estate

With so many beautiful surrounding cities one might think that Hope Ranch Real Estate would be forgotten. Not true, as this city has much to show off.  Hope Ranch has plenty to offer with beautiful custom homes, horse properties, view properties, beach bluff properties and is among some of the biggest business in the area. Enjoy the private Hope Ranch Beach, horse trails, LaCumbre Country Club and Golf Course. Also home of Laguna Blanca School.

Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of Hope Ranch is that it is unincorporated and is a very private community with their own police force, roads, beach access and is governed by the community. Quiet, serene, and safe are some of the words the city´s residents use to describe life in the area.

Isla Vista Real Estate

Isla Vista is another area that is adjacent to Santa Barbara and is still considered an unincorporated community meaning it has not yet become a city. Don´t be fooled by the words unincorporated community however, as Isla Vista is alive with the hustle and bustle of college students that attend nearby UC Santa Barbara as well as Santa Barbara City College.

Aside from the largely college attending population Isla Vista real estate has become popular due to the amount of homes and apartments that where built facing the Pacific Ocean.

The original inhabitants of Isla Vista where the Chumash who called the area Anisq’oyo’.  The land then came to be occupied by the residents of the Dos Pueblos Rancho and ownership was given to Nicholas Den. It was later in his life that the area was split up and given to separate owners and then again split between hundreds of owners in the 1920s. Since then the community has largely been filled with students attending college.

Isla Vista remains a popular place with the college crowd but is also popular with real estate investors and tourists because of its beach front properties and it’s close proximity to schools and Santa Barbara.

Los Alamos Real Estate

Los Alamos has an old-time Western feel to the seven-block long main street offering an antique mall in a historic train depot, quaint shops, restaurants and parks

Los Olivos Real Estate

Los Olivos offers a slice of upscale Americana with art galleries, an art museum, boutiques, more than a dozen wine tasting rooms, a world-class inn and a flagpole in the center of the town.

Montecito Real Estate

Another tremendous place to invest in is Montecito real estate. There are several points of interest for visitors and residents alike. A few of the hot spots are Butterfly and Miramar Beach, Coast Village Road boutiques and eateries, Westmont College, The Music Academy of the West and the unmatched beauty of Lotusland Botanical Garden.

Montecito is also home to several celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Steve Martin and even Steven Spielberg! Montecito properties are as attractive as some of the cities residents too and one should consider Montecito real estate for either residency or investment.

Santa Ynez Real Estate

Santa Ynez Valley is approximately a 35 minute drive from Santa Barbara. Here’s an idyllic combination of ranching tradition and blossoming Wine Country – a perfect place for a weekend get-away or to invest in Santa Ynez Real Estate.

Traditionally a ranching community, the Valley has become a primary source of fine dining and wine tasting – as well as a center for equine enthusiasts, artists and musicians. The Valley is also home to people who work in the neighboring cities of Santa Barbara and Santa Maria.

Within the Santa Ynez Valley are the townships of Ballard, Buellton, Los Alamos, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, and Solvang.. The Valley is noted for some of the best weather conditions in the USA, and has hosted the filming of several movies, such as Mayberry USA and Sideways.

Solvang Real Estate

Santa Barbara County houses many popular cities including Solvang. Solvang real estate sells quickly in part due to the cities Danish heritage which is often reflected in some of the community’s older construction. Solvang is now well known for its restaurants, bakeries and businesses that offer a taste of Danish living and cuisines. The homes in Solvang boast unique designs and a hint of some German designs. Homes with these designs help to further the popularity of Solvang and also draw tourists to them as well. If you’re already a resident in Solvang then you will undoubtedly be proud of your community. If you’re a visitor to this fine town you may find yourself a would be resident in no time!

Summerland Real Estate

The residents of Summerland will tell you that the city is a tremendous place to live. Not only is Summerland Real Estate beautiful but they boast well planned designs and are among some of the most attractive in the area. The town’s name says it all: Summerland is a classic California beach town just five miles south of Santa Barbara. Lillie Avenue is dotted with antique stores, cafes, Summerland Winery, and locally owned shops and charming cottages. The town’s central beach is framed by Lookout Park where you can watch the breakers from above and take in the breathtaking ocean and mountain views.

Summerland has its fair share of famous landmarks but you´ll hear about Santa Claus Lane more than any other site when you ask the city´s residents what to see. It is also of notable mention that Summerland has had a rich history in the oil industry dating back to the 1890´s.

If you are already a resident or you´ve been a visitor for more than one night you´ll certainly be aware that Summerland offers up quite a bit for those people who enjoy the night life.  Many people head over to Calypso Bar & Grill Inc which is just a short distance away in nearby Santa Barbara.  Of course for those who enjoy a quiet relaxing evening there are plenty theatres that provide opportunities to catch a movie before you retire for the night.
