This property has been in my family since my father purchased it in approximately 1977. He moved into it and lived here until 1979 and it was there after leased out until June 2015. In all those 38 years there was never any kind of water leakage in or under the house or any evidence of dry rot in the foundation. The carpet, and vinyl kitchen floor was replaced in 2008. At that time we cut inspection holes in the sub floor and inspected under the house. Everything was bone dry, and there was no evidence of any dry rot or water intrusion.
